Mind the Gap ALMR Autumn Debate

with No Comments

With less than three weeks until the Autumn Conference: Mind the Gap, the ALMR has unveiled its speaker list for the most divisive event of the year, which will take place at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall, overlooking the Rochdale Canal, a stone’s throw away from the historic St Peter’s Square in the bustling Spinningfields area of the city.

The lively debate will be preceded by presentations from some of the most knowledgeable commentators in the hospitality industry.

  • Nielsen Harrap of CACI will examine location mapping and site selection.
  • Sanj Naha of TripAdvisor will consider consumer perceptions and reality
  • Scott Elliot, CGA Strategy will discuss consumer trends and spends.

Two teams of retailers including: Anthony Pender, Yummy Pubs; James Baer, Amber Taverns; Giles Fry, Snug Bars and Andrew Stone, Be At One will then battle it out in our annual debate, looking at the profitability of operating in London and the regions – who survives and who thrives.

There are still a few tickets left for this year’s Debate, please email events@almr.org.uk for further information.
