Countdown Starts to AA Hospitality Awards 2016

It is just 10 weeks until the good and the great of the hospitality industry all come together to celebrate the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards 2016 on the 26 September at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.

With over 100 years of heritage and expertise the AA Hospitality Awards have become known as the Oscars of the hospitality industry and sees the top names and newcomers all anticipating the results of these coveted awards.

This year guests will be treated to a stunning menu created by 2015 AA Chefs’ Chef, Daniel Clifford, working with the team at the Grosvenor House.  Creating a menu for an event such as the AA Hospitality Awards, where you are catering for the country’s top chefs and restaurateur, can be a daunting task but Daniel’s experience and culinary flair is sure to surpass all expectations.

Actor, Comedian and Writer Hugh Dennis will be our host at the Awards event.

Regular panellist of BBC 2’s hit topical panel show “Mock the Week”, and star of BBC1’s hit sit-com “Outnumbered”, Hugh also writes and presents Radio 4’s award winning comedy “The Now Show”, which is currently in its 48th series.

He began his performing career in 1985, as one half of double act “Punt and Dennis”, which occasionally reprises itself for theatre audiences around the UK.

Hugh is a regular guest on various comedy panel game shows such as “They Think It’s All Over” and “Would I Lie To You?” He has also guest hosted “Have I Got News for You” and has starred in a number of sitcoms, including My Hero and the current BBC hit show “Not Going Out”.

The awards being presented on the night are Hotel of the Year for England, Wales, Scotland and London, Restaurant of the Year for England, Wales, Scotland and London, Pub of the Year for England, Scotland and Wales, Wine Award for England, Scotland and Wales, Hotel Group of the Year, Eco Hotel Group and Eco Hotel of the Year, Housekeeper of the Year, Food Service of the Year and the new AA College Restaurant of the Year.   There will also be the AA Lifetime Achievement Award and the coveted AA Chef of the Year, voted for by AA rosette awarded chefs.

The new AA Red star hotels and the new three, four and five rosette restaurants will also be announced at the event.
