with No Comments

Entries are now being accepted for this year’s ALMR Operations Managers Awards, which seeks to find the best Area Manager and best BDM in managed and leased licensed hospitality businesses.

To nominate your Ops Manager then all you need do is click online at the Awards dedicated website –  www.almropsawards.org.uk or by calling the ALMR on 020 8579 2080.

Since 1995 the Operations Managers Awards have shone a light on this vital level of management and again in 2014 will be unique in recognising the skills, enthusiasm and professionalism of the industry’s very best operations managers.

Nick Bish, ALMR, comments: “We are exceptionally proud of the Awards and the talent pool of operations managers that lead success at the sharp end of our industry. It is this talent that the ALMR Operations Managers Awards exists to recognise, reward and develop.”

Last year’s winners were announced at the ALMR Christmas Lunch in front of an audience of 1200 industry peers who applauded Barrie Robinson of Greene King Pub Partners and Will Fotheringham, JD Wetherspoon – the BDM and the Area Manager of the year respectively.

Nominations can be made online at www.almropsawards.org.uk, from May 1st and via the form available direct from the ALMR on 020 8579 2080 with the Entry Paper to be completed by July 31 of this year.

Mentor judge of the Ops Award programme and MD of Brewhouse & Kitchen Kris Gumbrell said: “I am proud to have worked with some of the very best managed and tenanted ops managers, and I am sure that these Awards are exactly the right way to develop their talent and to recognise their contribution to business profitability in our industry.”

The finals judging involves probing interviews from separate panels of leading industry professionals – testing the finalists performance and potential. And all this leading up to the announcement of the winners, once again, at the ALMR Christmas Lunch in December.

The Awards are supported by leading operators and suppliers from within the sector and commenting on behalf of these Patrons is Paul Chase from CPL Training: “The Awards say so much about the individual nominated and of course about the company that they work for. It says that they recruit well, they support their employees and they actively promote their individuals to be the best in their field   with internal as well as external training. We look forward to seeing another great field of Ops Managers coming forward for the 2014 Awards.”

Nominate from 1st May 2014 at www.almropswards.org.uk
