EPOS specialists GS Systems has appointed Rachel Gaunt to head its client support and training offerings to ensure the hospitality and retail sectors optimise their technology investments with the north west based company.

Client support manager Rachel has extensive hospitality operational experience at unit, area and head office levels. She is responsible for delivering a wide range of training, both internally within GS and externally to clients.

“I’ve worked with some of the best operators in the business, including Living Ventures, Hilton and Tragus and have seen first hand the importance of training and coaching people to deliver excellence and a great service. The benefits of training are far reaching, from the impact on a P&L sheet’s bottom line to the satisfied faces of a well-trained busy Saturday night workforce to happy customers enjoying a great guest experience,” said Rachel.

“Training has never been more important as it helps differentiate us as an EPOS provider and our clients from their competitors. On-going training of staff makes a genuine difference to how your business operates,” said GS Systems managing director Niels Nielsen.

“Rachel is not only an excellent and enthusiastic trainer but like the rest of the team at GS she has first hand experience of the challenges faced by everyone involved in the demanding hospitality sector.”

“The value of an EPOS solution extends way beyond the combination of hardware and software. Embedding watertight procedures and processes around the solution is just as important. With Rachel heading our training and client support, we’ll be proving once again that we’re not just another EPOS provider as we expand our training offering over the coming months.”

GS Systems has been at the forefront of the EPOS industry for four decades and is planning to rapidly expand its technology business over the next four years.

“There has never been a more exciting time to be involved with the EPOS industry as the current technology influences and drives all aspects of a business from cash and stock control to marketing to understanding the buying habits of customers. We’re looking forward to the challenge of leading the industry from the front as usual,” said Niels.
