Intuitive touchscreen EPOS technology MAX POS is now available to restaurant and bar owners on an iPad mini.
Visitors to the Restaurant Show at London’s Earl’s Court 2 (Stand G18) can explore a touchscreen solution on an iPad mini as a complement to traditional bespoke standalone and mobile EPOS hardware.
“A lot of operators like the idea of using the iPad mini within their businesses. We’ve interfaced MAX POS with Apple’s mini tablet so restaurants who have a GS EPOS solution can also access all the sales, stock, table management, loyalty, bookings, staff hours and deposits functionality on the move,” said Niels Nielsen, GS Systems managing director.
GS provides the iPads with smart leather cases to protect the hardware from damage and spillage.
“iPads look and feel great and are a big attraction for operators but they are not as robust as purpose-designed handhelds so the cases are an extra insurance against accidental damage,” said Niels.
The iPad mini with MAX POS touchscreen technology can only be purchased by GS clients as part of an overall business management solution. These are built around MAX Suite software, which typically adds 2-6% to an operator’s margins using its restaurant management control tools, and bespoke EPOS terminals and mobile handheld devices as well as the iPad mini.
