D-day for the hospitality sector is less than two months away when it becomes mandatory on 13 December 2014 for all food businesses (including pubs, bars and restaurants) to provide mandatory allergen information for guests upon request. The Food Standards Agency has a dedicated resource packed full of guidance and materials to assist local authorities and food businesses in promoting, implementing and complying with the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation.
