A raft of new members has seen the ALMR further extend its casual dining element, reinforcing the Association as the definitive voice for an ever-evolving licensed hospitality sector.

The ALMR has welcomed a number of new casual dining businesses into membership in 2016, including Bill’s Restaurants and Pizza Hut Restaurants, with such businesses now making up one fifth of ALMR retailers members. The ALMR has also welcomed late-night retailers Arc Inspirations and Apartment Group into membership.

ALMR Chief Executive Kate Nicholls said: “The ALMR’s membership has grown from strength to strength over recent years, incorporating increasingly diverse and innovative businesses that reflect changes across the sector, and sharing objectives emerging from a consumer-sensitive market.

“The landscape of licensed hospitality continues to evolve, to face new challenges and to innovate, inspire and drive growth. The uptake in casual dining members is a good indicator of the state of the current market, with businesses adapting in order to prosper.

“We are in a very strong position and, with the welcome additional more new casual dining members, can say we are the leading voice for licensed hospitality in the UK.”
