Private Eye cartoonist’s touching tribute to Tim’s passion for excellence

Private Eye cartoonist Tony Husband has paid a touching tribute to Living Ventures’ chairman andco-founder Tim Bacon, who died last Friday.

Bacon was a hugely popular figure in the city and now Private Eye cartoonist Tony Husband has paid tribute to him with a special cartoon dedicated to his love of good food and drink.

Bacon had commissioned Husband to draw a huge mural on the wall of one of his restaurants – Artisan – earlier this year. Husband has also drawn cartoons for The Times, Punch, The Sunday Express, The Spectator and The Sun.

Husband told the M.E.N: “Tim was such a special man and his legacy is amazing. I just wanted to do something nice.”
