Italian restaurant group and GS Systems client San Carlo is about to unveil its new restaurant and cocktail bar concept Fumo – and the Manchester Evening News’ brilliant Food & Drink team had a first look at what diners can expect. The spectacular 5,500 square foot venue at the newly-built 1 St Peter’s Square is a fifth city site for the family-owned business, and food will follow a similar style to its Cicchetti restaurant on King Street. But it is also promising more of a bar offering – with an extensive cocktail menu and late lounge with a DJ at weekends.
