An electronic gift card and e-voucher solution designed to boost hospitality and retail sales by up to 35% will be launched at the Restaurant Show (6-8 October 2014, Earl’s Court 2, London) by EPOS and digital technology specialists GS Systems.
Max Rewards’ electronic gift cards and e-vouchers provide operators with a profitable, simple and secure alternative to printed or handwritten vouchers and can be sold to customers in-store, online or via direct mail.
Blank branded electronic gift cards and e-vouchers are given a cash value and a number ID for tracking when operators swipe them through the EPOS system. Once the value and number have been recorded on the system, the gift cards and e-vouchers can be redeemed according to whatever rules are set by the operator.
“Max Rewards cards and vouchers neatly dovetail technology and creativity, add genuine end user value and build brand empathy and loyalty. Just as important, it is anticipated that cards and vouchers can see a 25-35% customer spend uplift in the hospitality sector with a gross margin around the 65/70% mark,” said Niels Nielsen, GS Systems managing director.
“What’s more, using smarts tool gives operators an alternative to price discounting, which can only undermine a brand proposition and make it far more difficult to sell at the normal published price.”
Gift cards and e-vouchers are available to hospitality operators and retailers as part of GS Systems’ Max Suite business management software solution.
